CNY Message

Exams are sooo frigginly O-V-E-R. If you ask me which of these are killers papers, I would say they all are.

That aside, it is time of indulgence and relief (that is till the "redemption"-results day- comes...bah). And oh yeah, it is gonna be CNY soon. Come to think of it, it sure is fast. The last one is still fresh in my mind.

As for the coming 3 months, I will be having a long break. Not so long then if I decided to work (actually, I did decided, just dunno where XD). Then again, it is the time of the year, where I can totally spend on new clothes and got my refund back when it comes to receiving angpows. Hehe. Very commercialized concept eh?

So, Happy Chinese New Year (and all the wishes that comes to your mind) to you all!

Majoring and Minoring

WHAT MAJOR IS RIGHT FOR YOU?
created with QuizFarm.com
You scored as History/Anthropology/LiberalArts

You should strongly consider majoring (or minoring) in History, Anthropology, or related majors (e.g., African and African-American Studies, Chinese, Classics, Cultural Studies, Economics, English, French, Geography, German, Greek, Hebrew, International Studies, Philosophy, Sociology, Women's Studies, or other Liberal Arts majors).

It is possible that the best major for you is your 2nd, 3rd, or even 5th listed category, so be sure to consider ALL majors in your OTHER high scoring categories (below). You may score high in a category you didnt think you would--it is possible that a great major for you is something you once dismissed as not for you. The right major for you will be something 1) you love and enjoy and 2) are really great at it.

Consider adding a minor or double majoring to make yourself standout and to combine your interests. Please post your results in your myspace/blog/journal.

Oh well, my future decided. So, off to what I'm best at. Going to make plans for the next 40 years. And then by the time I realized I achieved all these, I am some friggin' seasoned veteran with white (probably bald) head with numerous syndromes and diseases occupying my body.

My point is, they are just guidelines.

If you just curious to peep at what the future holds for you (preferred to the words "know and decide"), take a test at the link above. As for the validity of such test, I do doubt it a lil. So, don't trust completely what it is.

Civilization

A brief conversation when I was sitting at a mamak store 14 feet level under my KL home:

Mamak: (saw a guy who is dirtying the floor with his smoke ashes) Here's the ash tray.
Guy: (look at the mamak for 2 secs) What? I don't think need this.
Mamak: (stare at the floor and him confused)
Guy: You know why ah? I need you to clean this up for me later. Ash on the floor cannot ah? You sweep la!
Mamak: (pissed and walk away)

It shows that in this so-often-called- the civilized world, there are still beings that were stuck between the boundaries of beast and human. If it wasn't a civilized world that me and my friends realized that we are in, he would be clubbed to death in two minutes.

2008 A.D.

I know that the previous said that got "gonna post pics here"...but my ever draggy friend delayed...maybe the next post la...or the next...or next....zzz

Anyway, its new year. And I know what you are thinking about. Nope. No resolutions. Coz it doesn't work. It reminds you of being a failure, or at least just me. Heh.

Started the new year with a bang. Bang as in assignments, presentations and the coming-to-cinemas-near-you-sort-of-countdown for exams. And then I suddenly realize that it is Week 13...no, wait, end of Week 13!! Crap. I really should be worried, but I'm not. Perhaps being a last-minute veteran contributes. The last-minute concept sure does do wonders, you know? It's like steroid to body builders. And that makes me sound like some drug addict.

Anyway, enough blah blahs. Just wishing everybody Happy New Year and Tarcians lucks in exams.
